How to Change a Product's Main Image?

A product’s main image is its primary visual representation. It appears when the product link is shared on social media or messaging platforms and serves as a visual preview.

Follow these steps to change the main image of your product:

1. Head to the Site Admin > Store Manager > Products section.
2. Click on the product you want to update or open its Actions menu > Edit.
   

   

3. In the Details tab, scroll down to the Product Images section, where you can view all current images. The first one is the main image.
4. If you want to replace it with one of the other existing images, simply drag the new one and drop it in place of the old main image.
   

   

5. You can also upload a new main image. To do so, open the media gallery by pressing the + Add button.
   

   

6. Click on the + sign to upload an image from your computer. Alternatively, select one of the images from your media gallery or a stock image from the Unsplash Gallery. To confirm, press Insert.
   

   

The main image is also used as the featured image in the product’s SEO metadata. Additionally, you can assign a social media image that appears when the product is shared on social media.

Choose a high-quality, clear image that accurately represents your product. Ensure it looks good on your store and when shared on social media. In addition, you can try to highlight key features to attract potential buyers.
