Access to Client Area for New Clients with Free Website Builder or Coderick AI
If you’re new to SiteGround and have activated a free trial of our Website Builder or Coderick AI but haven’t yet purchased a hosting or Coderick AI plan, you may notice limited access to the SiteGround Client Area. To gain full access, simply assign a hosting plan to your Website Builder trial or purchase a Coderick AI plan for your trial Coderick Project.
Limitations of the Free Website Builder and Coderick AI Free Trial
Website Builder
Before purchasing a hosting account, you can activate up to 10 free Website Builders. You can build websites, but to publish them, you’ll need to sign up for a hosting plan. More information about the limitations of the free trial can be found in this SiteGround Website Builder Free Trial tutorial.
Coderick AI
If you haven’t purchased a Coderick AI plan, you can activate up to 5 free trial projects. While in trial mode, you can build, edit, and view the project, but you can’t publish it or share it with other users. For more information, read this guide on the limitations of the Coderick AI Free Trial.
Services and Marketplace
While testing the SiteGround Website Builder or Coderick AI, you won’t have full access to all SiteGround services, such as:
- Email Marketing,
- Google Workspace,
- Expert Care, and more.
These services become available once you have an active paid service, at which point you can access them in the Marketplace tab of your Client Area.
Billing Section
Before you complete your first order, you will not be able to add/edit a payment method through your billing section. Also, there will be no past payments or upcoming service renewals to be displayed.
Help Center and Support
During your Website Builder trial, you have full access to our Coderick AI knowledge base, Website Builder knowledge base articles, and SiteGround AI Chat Assistance. Once you purchase a paid hosting plan for your website or a premium Coderick AI plan, you will also gain access to phone support, live chat, and support tickets.
Profile Details
You’ll be prompted to complete your profile details with your first order. Afterward, you can edit them in your Client Area > Login & Profile.
Additional SiteGround Features
After activating your first paid service, you can participate in our referral and affiliate programs, collaborate on other sites, and explore more features.
