How to Manage a Product's URL Slug?

A product URL slug is the part of the URL that comes after the domain name and identifies a specific product page. For example, in www.store.com/red-running-shoes, “red-running-shoes” is the slug.

To manage your product’s URL slug, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Site Admin > Store Manager > Products.
  2. Click on a product to edit it or open its Actions (three dots) menu > Edit.
  3. Go to the SEO tab and edit the URL field.

  5. Press the Save button in the upper right corner.

A well-crafted product URL slug improves SEO by including relevant keywords. That can help search engines discover your product easily, increasing click-through rates with readable URLs. Always aim for short, descriptive, and keyword-rich slugs. And don’t forget to customize your product’s SEO settings.
