My Social Media Manager Agent isn’t Working — How Do I Fix It?

If your Social Manager agent for Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn Agent isn’t posting, fetching data, or connecting correctly, the issue is usually related to permissions or an expired integration token.

Try the following steps to fix it:

  1. Check your connection status

Go to AI Studio > Connectors and make sure the relevant social account (Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn) is connected.

If it shows as disconnected, reconnect your account and approve all requested permissions.

  1. Verify page or profile access

Make sure the connected account has admin or editor rights to the Page or profile you want the Agent to manage.

For Instagram, make sure the account you are connecting is already set as a business profile.

If you recently changed your role or created a new Page, you may need to reconnect the integration.

  1. Refresh permissions

Even with active connections, platform tokens may expire periodically for security reasons. Reconnecting the account refreshes these permissions automatically.

To do that, go to AI Studio > Connectors > Kebab menu (three-dots) > Update:

  1. Retry the action

After reconnecting, return to your chat and retry posting or fetching content. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache and log out and back into AI Studio.
